On the morning of October 23, Mr. Colin Higgins, Deputy Minister of the Department of Business Law and Dean of the Department of Management of Deakin University, Xie Hui, International Affairs Manager of the Department of Business Law, Wang Bingjie, Director of the International Department in China, and Wang Ningning, Manager of cooperation between senior institutions in China, came to visit our university.

Ms. He Yurun, Dean of the Business School, first extended a warm welcome to Vice Minister Higgins's visit and invited the delegation to watch the university's promotional video. Subsequently, the delegation was introduced to the subject and specialty setting, research direction and characteristics of the Business school. Director He Dongmeng introduced the characteristic discipline construction of our university, the basic situation of international exchange and the professional setting of foreign cooperation. She expressed the hope that the two universities will further strengthen in-depth inter-school exchanges and cooperation, invite Deakin University teachers to give keynote lectures for MBA and IMBA students of the Business School, and hope that the two sides will further deepen exchanges and expand cooperation in the future.
Deputy Minister Higgins expressed his gratitude to Beijing Technology and Business University for its warm reception. He introduced the history and development status of Deakin University in Australia and the research direction of the Department of Business Law. Australia Deakin University (referred to as "DKU"), Australia's top 10, the world's top 2%, has obtained a number of international accerditations. He said that he was very happy to review the achievements of past cooperation and think about new opportunities in the future. At present, the cooperation mode between the two universities is the double degree program of the Business School and the 2+2 study abroad program of the School of International Education. The two disciplines have a high matching degree, and at the same time, Deakin University attaches great importance to the cooperation and exchange between the two universities. Deakin University will always be committed to developing and deepening the cooperation fields and contents with the University of Business and Industry. In the future, the cooperation between the two schools will be carried out in the mode of online teaching cooperation "Quaro" and short-term exchange abroad during the semester.
Subsequently, the participants exchanged in-depth views with each other on school-enterprise cooperation between the two universities, international summer schools, 1+1 and 2+0 graduate single-degree student programs.
