On the morning of March 3, Geoff Perry, executive Vice President of International Association of Advanced Business Schools (AACSB), and Xu Guodong, head of East Asia Region, visited Beijing Technology and Business University to formally grant AACSB membership and make a special report on AACSB international accerditation. Associate Dean Mr. Liu Minhua warmly welcomed the arrival of Geoff Perry and his delegation, and introduced the history, characteristics and discipline construction of the school. He pointed out that Beijing Technology and Business University has reached cooperation with 76 universities in 32 countries, and jointly launched the global Business digital Education Alliance with more than 30 universities at home and abroad, and the international accerditation of business is the only way for our school's education and teaching level to keep up with international first-class standards. Promoting AACSB accerditation is the need to build a high-level research university with distinctive characteristics, to promote the digital transformation of business and strengthen discipline construction, and to build a high-level faculty team integrating recruitment and training with teachers, teaching and students. Business schools should seize the powerful starting point of "international accerditation", establish a world-class curriculum system and scientific research platform, effectively improve the quality of teaching and research and internationalization level, and successfully pass the accerditation in accordance with the established plan. At the same time, business schools should focus on how to combine their own characteristics with international accerditation work, in order to promote evaluation and construction, continuous improvement, and make every effort to promote the school into the national "double first-class" ranks, and further enhance the school's international reputation, competitiveness and influence. The school will fully support the international accreditation of business schools.

At the meeting, Geoff Perry, on behalf of AACSB, presented the membership certificate to our Business School, marking the official membership of Beijing Technology and Business University Business School.

Xu Guodong, head of AACSB East Asia Region, further focused on AACSB accerditation procedures, accerditation standards, AOL, evaluation cycle and accerditation visits, etc., to provide detailed action guidelines for the next international accerditation program. He also shared AACSB's membership resources, learning and development programs, demonstrating AACSB's vision for business schools around the world to grow together and create a positive impact on society.

In his concluding speech, the Dean of the Business School, He Yurun, expressed his sincere thanks to Geoff Perry and Xu Guodong on behalf of the school, emphasizing that the philosophy of the Business School is highly aligned with the AACSB accreditation mission and vision.
