In order to accelerate the internationalization process of the Business School and improve students' cross-cultural understanding and communication skills, with the strong support of the Business School and the International Department, the Business School selected students to participate in the "Future Business Vision" summer School research program of National University Cork from August 5 to August 19, 2023. The "Future Business Vision" Summer School Research Program is jointly organized by the Language Center of National University Cork, the International Office and the official Representative Office of University Cork Beijing. It is the official summer program of University Cork. This exchange program is the first exchange group from Beijing Technology and Business University to National University Cork in Ireland after the epidemic, and the business school selected 12 undergraduates and postgraduates to participate.

This summer study schedule is closely arranged, including academic courses, cutting-edge theme lectures, and colorful cultural experience activities. During the two-week summer program, students participated in professional courses in business English, and actively interacted with students from different countries, and their English expression and writing skills were greatly improved. In addition, National University College Cork also arranged a series of keynote lectures and organized students to visit the Ignite business incubator program, so that students have a deeper understanding of the University Cork's interdisciplinary research and student entrepreneurship support initiatives. Apart from classes, the Summer program also arranges a series of cultural experience activities, so that students can deeply experience the local culture of Ireland, and participate in activities with international students to enhance cultural exchanges.

At the end of the project, the students presented their own project learning results and business plans in groups, which won unanimous praise from the teachers of University College Cork and successfully obtained the completion certificate.

This summer program is a two-way exchange, business is one of the advantages of University College Cork, summer activities for students to provide high-quality and the latest business related information, after two weeks of learning experience, students continue to broaden their vision, improve their English ability, and gradually clear the future development plan. Business School teacher Sun Xiaoran accompanied the delegation to exchange, and talked with the head of the international exchange office of Cork University and the international program teachers of the business school, a comprehensive understanding of the international student education system and management system of Cork University, and conducted an in-depth discussion on student training issues. Through the exchanges with local teachers and students, they also have a better understanding of Chinese culture, which promotes the cultural and academic interconnection between China and Ireland.
